Misty Morning Hop

A foggy start to this Minneapolis Saturday, but warm enough to actually photograph it without freezing. Still trying to make my peace with this winter. And yeah, I know it’s technically NOT winter, according to the calendar, but I’m still going to complain like it really is.

Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad.

Kept a rollin' all night long

Last weekend I had the pleasure of spending a night on the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad, a bed & breakfast train based in Spooner, Wisconsin, about two hours northeast of the Twin Cities. Still snow on the ground in them there parts. This shot was taken on a foggy Sunday morning just before sunrise.

That has to be Bridge L-5853

MN-Dot Bridge #L-5853. Famous for being the second-oldest reinforced concrete arch bridge in Minnesota, this pedestrian bridge spans a former streetcar right-of-way. And it evens stands up to fog.
