Tropical encounter

Not so much from the outside, as the morning was crazy windy and on the chillier side of the thermometer, but inside the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, it’s always summer as you stroll through a half acre of sundry vegetation.

Puddle

Found this in Como Park one morning after a rain the previous night. I had no idea what kind of plant it was, but lucky for me, Mrs. Twin Cities Seen is down with the identifying of the vegetation, and said, "That's a sedum, you knucklehead".

That has to be Bridge L-5853

MN-Dot Bridge #L-5853. Famous for being the second-oldest reinforced concrete arch bridge in Minnesota, this pedestrian bridge spans a former streetcar right-of-way. And it evens stands up to fog.
