Halfway there

A bit of late afternoon sun popped the shadows nicely on the grain silos over in the area of Minneapolis referred to as “SEMI” (Southeast Minneapolis Industrial Area).

The second photo is a panoramic shot my daughter took with her phone. The figure on the left is me lumbering about, trying to determine a good vantage point for a photo or two.

Converge

Another shot from before the snow fell. Stomping around Minneapolis in the area known as the Southeast Minneapolis Industrial area.

Rocket to MPLS

What a difference 48 hours makes. Was out and about snapping a few photos late Saturday afternoon. The ground was still clear then, but after Monday's snow and sleet, the landscape looks quite different. To see this shot in color, check out the version posted on my Facebook page.

East v. West

Here we are in November already. Temperatures weren’t terrible today, so I ventured out near sunset to see what I could see. Wandered around near University Avenue for a bit, then found this bridge overlooking I-94. I’ve lived in St. Paul 22 years now and this was the first I’ve set foot on this bridge. The things you learn.

This is looking east on I-94, on the Pelham Blvd. bridge.
