It's 2020!

Hoping 2020 brings you new and exciting adventures!
This is from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, summer of 2019. One of my favorite places to spend time.

Knockout

Taken in Rehoboth Beach, DE, a few days before Hurricane Florence made landfall. Even though Florence was still several hundred miles south at that point, the ocean was as crazy as I've ever seen it, the waves strong enough to have knocked loose part of a wooden jetty.

August

I’d like to propose that summer last NINE months, and we fit everything else into the remaining three. Who’s with me?

Spray

Where the land and the water collide. Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Today marks the official end of summer for the year 2015; tomorrow is the fall equinox and the coming of shorter days for the Northern Hemisphere. I like the spring equinox better.

Return

Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
I like the ocean. The ocean makes me feel calm. Since moving to the Midwest, I don’t get to the ocean nearly often enough. I’m also not calm often enough, either.

The certainty of tides

Down at the end of the land during a foggy morning at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, watching the ocean roll in and back out.

This morning is on fire

This would be one of those times the elements WERE with me. Early morning in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Had a long stretch of sand all to myself around the area called Whiskey Beach and got to watch a beautiful sunrise, hoping I could do it justice with the camera. The towers are from World War II and were built as lookout locations; the belief was that after Pearl Harbor, the Delaware Coast were in danger.
