Bright

Meet Bright, who is from Rwanda. He lives in the Twin Cities with a family I’ve been friends with for ages. This is from a December photo shoot, before the weather turned to total crap.

Flow

Bitter cold, crazy wind, and blowing snow. There’s the Minneapolis winter I know and love. Said no one ever. At least not at my house.
Partially frozen Mississippi River, 35W bridge, and Minneapolis in the (chilly) distance.

Halfway there

A bit of late afternoon sun popped the shadows nicely on the grain silos over in the area of Minneapolis referred to as “SEMI” (Southeast Minneapolis Industrial Area).

The second photo is a panoramic shot my daughter took with her phone. The figure on the left is me lumbering about, trying to determine a good vantage point for a photo or two.

Aquarium

Minneapolis skyway on a cold winter day.

One degree

Mississippi River at Crosby Lake Farm, Saint Paul.
On my way back from the MSP airport, having dropped off an out-of-town friend who’d been visiting, I passed by Crosby Lake Farm. Decided to have a look around, then decided on a quicker look once I felt how crazy cold the breeze felt on my bare skin. By the time I stumbled across this scene, my fingers were starting to go numb inside my gloves, so I made with the picture taking and raced back to the car to thaw out. Do I still have ten fingers? Stay tuned for the exciting answer.
