Rolling past the Mississippi River in downtown Saint Paul, MN.
Photos mostly from Minneapolis and Saint Paul, but also other places because sometimes I get lost.

Fountain photo-bomb
Noticed
the reflection of the Minnesota Building in a fountain along Kellogg
Boulevard and had just lined up the shot when this guy wandered into
frame and added his own special something to the mix.

True Grid
We don’t think much of the physical nature of our electricity system,
even though it’s all around us. To most of us it’s magic: flip a switch
or twist a knob or press a button and the power is there. But we
need to answer a lot of questions about the state of our grid: how we’ll
upgrade it, how much it will cost, how we’ll pay for it, how we’ll keep
it secure, and tons of others. Recommended book: “The Grid: The Fraying
Wires Between Americans and Our Energy Future”, by Gretchen Bakke.
