Early April and spring was in the air: warm sunshine, mild breeze, birds chirping--I even spotted a pair of the sometimes elusive Northern Skater.

Deep water, screaming wind

Taken from the Ford Parkway Bridge, also known as the Intercity Bridge, looking toward Lock and Dam No. 1. The wind was blowing at me so hard I thought my entire camera bag was taking flight at one point. But it made for some pretty patterns on the water.
